Home Movies
When I was little my momma would say
Tomorrow’s gonna be another sunny day
We’ll go outside and have lot’s of fun
We’ll roll that film and film everyone
Watching home movies sure takes me back
My aunt carol’s laughing at my uncle jack
Darken down the room and fire up that thing
And I’ll be watching from here in the wings
When I was little living on the farm
I’d drive those chickens into alarm
Me and daddy on the tractor would ride
But from my momma we could not hide
Watching home movies sure takes me back
My aunt carol’s laughing at my uncle jack
Darken down the room and fire up that thing
And I’ll be watching from here in the wings
Now I’d be sad about those old times
If I could only relive them in my mind
But thanks to my momma for the rest of my life
I can watch them a laugh with the kids and the wife
Watching home movies sure takes me back
My aunt carol’s laughing at my uncle jack
Darken down the room and fire up that thing
And I’ll be watching from here in the wings
