Americus B. Tinder

Enlisted on 30 July 1861 as a bugler.  On 12 Aug. 1861 he mustered into Company F, 2nd Illinois Cavalry.  He was discharged for wounds on 14 June 1863.  Illinois Roster of Officers and enlisted men.

Samuel Martin Tinder

Enlisted on 24 July 1861 as a private in Company E, 21st Indiana Infantry.  He was transferred out on 1 Feb. 1863.  On 1 Feb. 1863 he transferred into Company E, 1st Indiana Heavy Artillery.  He re-enlisted 1 Jan. 1864.  He was mustered out on 13 Jan. 1866.  Promotions: 1st Sergt., 2nd Lieut.  Report of Adjutant General State of Indiana.

Enlisted on 16 Aug. 1861 as a private in Company K, 18th Indiana Infantry.  He deserted 15 Jan. 1863 (estimated day of desertion).  Report of Adjutant General State of Indiana.

Enlisted on 9 July 1863 as a private in Company D, 103rd Indiana Infantry.  He mustered out on 17 July 1863 at Indianapolis, Indiana.  Report of Adjutant General State of Indiana.
