The following images comprise my collection (to date) of my pencil drawings. The remainder of drawings have been given away to family and friends. Pencil is now my medium of choice. I will use pencils ranging in hardness of a 10H, to the softness of an 8B. For the portraits, I also use a blending stump for the wide areas, to a sharpened tortillion for the detail work. For the reverse highlights, I use a hand held. Battery powered, eraser. I will sharpen the eraser head to a needle point and draw with it. The unit I have now is a relatively small one, made in Germany. It is lightweight and offers a good range of motion and flexibility.Click on the following images to see the enlarged version.
