Most of these images you see here were done in the early 70's. Some were done
in the early 80's. But, by and large I have switched over to pencil. It is not that I didn't like pen and
ink, but they just took so damm long to do. I didn't use a mechanical pen, I used basic crow quill nibs. The nibs
would clog every few minutes or so. India Ink uses a varnish as a binder, and when the ink dries on a pen, it is
very difficult to clean. I would use small pieces of cotton rag to clean them. By the time I finished a drawing,
those rages looked like the deformed skin of a Dalmation.
