When I started going through old family photos, I realized the problem of sharing unique copies of family photos among
numerous sibling and cousins. For example, I have this photo of Thomas Ewbank II (1827-1900) with 6 of his children. I count
more than one hundred living descendants of his in the Ewbank genealogy.
This site is designed to solve that problem.
It provides a place where Ewbank descendants can post small copies of old family photos and get information about photos available
from other Ewbanks. It is limited to photos of the descendants of John and Ann Chapman Ewbank who settled in Dearborn County,
Indiana in 1811.
The collection of photos is not limited to those carrying the name Ewbank. Smith,
Blasdel, Hall, Liddle, Randall, Ratcliff and other cousins are also welcome.
The photographs shown here will be made available to Ewbank descendants at little or no cost. I am not a dealer and I
have no intention of making a profit on these photos. Generally, digital copies (jpg) can be sent free of charge by e-mail.
Prints are usually available from on-line photographic sites for only a few dollars each. I have included links to a few photos
that are available from photo dealers.
