Hello

Hi Faith Family and Friends- Spring is just around the corner. So is Easter or what we like to call Resurrection Son Rise. We have had some great speakers and visiting Pastors for our Morning and Evening worship services. The Lord has been providing our needs and we are so thankful to HIM for all he has done. Right now we are looking out for volunteers to help teach classes or possibly fill in for substitute positions for Children's Church and Sunday school. We are also looking for anyone who may be interested in the media department. We need music slides to made for the praise team or someone who may want to help run the computer or power point slide during service. I ask that you pray about it and if the Lord leads you to wanting to help out in any of these avenues please contact the church office and ask for Celeste. Thank you for checking out the webspace.

Changes to the site and to Faith Bible Church

Sorry we have updated our site in some time. There have been some major changes at Faith Bible. In December we experienced a "break in and theft". We also endured the loss of our beloved Pastor John during a routine heart stent surgery. At the moment our Pulpit committee is on the process of finding a new Pastor. Through it all, the Lord is in control and we seen HIM working through all of this. He has given us Godly men and women who continue to serve with all their hearts and efforts. We have witnessed the Lords provision through this adverse time. We know if we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and trust Him through this process we will come out just fine. To God be the glory!

Holiday Schedule just around the corner.

With the holidays quickly approaching we wanted to bring to your attention the schedule at Faith Bible Church.

Every Tuesday at 8:00 AM G.I.V.E.N. Committee meets to talk about helping out communities in San Bernardino.

Thanksgiving FBC Dinner 5:30 PM on Sunday November 18, 2012

December 1 at 10:00 AM Community Church of Devore will be hosting a Woman's Tea here at FBC. Please call Alexa at CCoD for RSVP 909-286-3366

December 16 at 6:00 PM Festival of Songs for Christmas. A time of Carols, Cookies, Hot Chocolate, and fellowship for Christmas time. All welcome for some old fashion fun.

We believe and teach the following statements as basic truths in the Bible.

1. THE BIBLE: the word of God, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament, verbally inspired in all parts, wholly error as originally given by God, the complete and final written revelation from God, and sufficient as our only rule of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 ; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

2. THE ONE TRUE GOD: manifested in three distinct and seperate persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Luke 3:22; Mathew 28:19; 2 Corinthinans 13:14)

3. THE HEAVENLY FATHER: preexistent deity(Isaiah 9:6),who gave His only begotten Son for the sins of man, (John3:16), who hears and answers the prayers of believers in Christ (John 16:23), who cares and provides for His children (Mathew 6:25-33), who offers an intimate relationship to all believers(2 Corinthians 1:3; Galations 4:6; John 17:19-22)

4. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: preexistent deity(John 1:1-3), God manifest in human form(John 1:14), born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-23; Revelation 1:18), resurrected bodily from the dead (Luke 24:36-43), ascended to heave (Acts 1:9-11), and coming back again to establish His Kingdom on Earth (Revelation 19:11-16; Matthew 24:27-31.)

5. THE HOLY SPIRIT: preexistent deity (Acts 5:3,4), convicting of sin and guiding inot Truth (John 16:7-15), causing spiritual birth (John 3:5), baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ and indwelling at the moment of spiritual birth (1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:9), filling and empowering believers for Chirstian Life and service (Ephesians 5:18, 3:16, 4:30; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:16, 22-23)

6. MAN: created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-28), fell into sin resulting in spiritual death (Genesis 3:1-24); Romans 5:12, 3:23), and now all men and women need a spiritual birth for salvation (John 3:3-5)

7. THE SALVATION OF MAN: complete and eternal salvation from sin, death and hell by God's grace alone, received as agift from God through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work, secured eternally in Christ (John 10:28, 29; Jude 23,24; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9: John 14:6: Romans 10:9,10; 1 Peter 1:18,19; 1 john 5:11-13).

8. CHRISTIAN LIVING; righteousness, good works, and seperation unto God from the evil ways of the world ( Romans 12:1-2), manifested by speaking the truth (James 5:12), maintaining the sanctity of the home ( Ephesians 5:22-6:4), settling differences between Christians according to the Word of God ( 1 Corinthians 6:1-8), not engaging in carnal strife (Romans 12:17-21), exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit ( Galatians 5:22,23), maintaining a life of prayer ( Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6; James 5:13-18).

9. THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST: one true Church (Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:22-32; Matthew 16;13-18), composed of all true believers of the present age of Grace ( 1 Corintians 12:12-13), and the organization of its members in local churches for worship, for edification of believers, and for worldwide gospel witness, each local church being autonomous but cooperating in fellowship and work (Ephesians 4:11-16).

10. THE GREAT COMMISSION: to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all nations as our Lord commanded ( Matthew 28:18-20; mark 16:15; 2 Timothy 2:1-4), every believer being witness for Jesus Christ ( 2 Corinthians 5:11-21), trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit ( Acts 1:8), and responsible to pray for ( Matthew 9:36-38), support ( 1 Corinthians 9:13-14), and send missionaries into all the world ( romans 10:13-15).

11. Lucifer: created by God but through pride and sinful ambition rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven (Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28:13-17), exists as the great adversary of God and his people (Revelation 12:1-10; Ephesians 6:12-18), deceives and blinds people (John 8:44; Genesis 3; 2 Corinthians 4:4), will be judged by God (John 12:31), and final destiny is eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 12:9-10, 20:10).

12. THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: the personal, visible and imminent return of Christ to remove His Church from the earth (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 1:9, 10: Revelation 3:10), and afterward to descent with the church to establish His millennial kingdom upon the earth (Revelation 20:10).

13. THE FUTURE LIFE: the conscious existence of the dead (Luke 16:19-31), believers upon death to be absent from the body, present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8), believers in heaven awaiting the resurrection of the body (1 Corinthians 3:12-14), the judgment and reward of believers (1 Corinthians 3:12-14, 2 Corinthians 5:9-10), the judgment and condemnation of unbelievers (Revelation 20:11-15), the eternal life of the saved ( John 3:16,17: 5:24), and the eternal punishment of the lost ( Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:15).
