Before 9/11, Rudy Giuliani was known mostly a philandering proto-fascist with a radio program, in which he occasionally abused callers (and not in a good way). He might have also been a mayor, or drag queen. Either seemed possible, based on the evidence.

About our author: In the interests of heading off some hate mail, I am a registered Republican, though moderate. I feel that the massive deficit spending of the Bush administration and the same from Mayor Giuliani's administration, and the environmental pillaging by the Bush administration and the people Giuliani's law firm represent, are the complete opposite of the word "conserve". I would not have bothered to write all this, except that Rudy has inexplicably survived scandal after scandal, all by chanting "9/11" as a protective mantra. I seriously do not understand what people see in him. Perhaps the sharp teeth of ferrets can pop this particular balloon.

I took the colors off a tie of the truest American, Stephen Colbert. The font for "Giuliani" is, of course, "New York".
