I've been a machinist for over 20 years. Like most shops, my current employer is all CNC production. Nowadays
it's all go - go keep the parts flowing! Sure we still hold close tolerances and all but I miss the days of being more involved
in decisions. So now my job is also a hobby. I put a wood stove in the garage and in the middle of January I'll crank it up
to 80 degrees and "make something". You might not relate, but that makes me happy.
