To promote respect for the Flag of the United States of America and to educate children about its History and Flag Code, Oneida Chapter initiated the following event to emphasize the importance of "Flying the Flag".

To motivate and reward exceptional displays of Patriotic Endeavor within our community, Oneida Chapter has launched a campaign titled......

                                                           ......"WE NOTICED!"

Here is how it works.... When a Chapter member observes an outstanding display of the American Flag by an area business/institution, a letter of congratulations entitled "We Noticed!" is mailed expressing our plaudits and admiration to that organization for reflecting a positive example in our community.  Too often we Americans take such formality for granted, and efforts such as these, to reaffirm respect for our national symbol, warrant special recognition.  Here are a few examples of some organizations that have received our Letter of Recognition.....
