To the East... Muncy, Route 118 to around Red Rock. Some base stations from Hazleton and Wilkes-Barre area and a few other spots out that way and they were full quieting into the repeater. N3XXH, was able to make it back to the repeater from I 81 - although I can not remember where he was now (It didnt last long.. 30 seconds maybe).
North East.... N3XXH, from his house in Estella, WA3RDM from his house in Laporte both in Sullivan county. In March of 2004 KB3AWQ went on a road trip with a 5/8 wave and 50 watts up Route 220 to Laporte and was able to talk to N3MFJ all the way up (with the exception of the part where the Tavern is until you get up to where your in Laporte On Rx it was mostly a busy light above Tivoli. The same night also traveled up Route 87 to about where the Park Rangers office is which near the Sullivan county line (thinking 17-18 miles up Route 87 from Montoursville).
South... down to the southern end of Allenwood on Route 15 which is about where you lose the receive as well. It is possible to hear the repeater and get into it at certain points on the way to the Union/Snyder County line on Route 15. However, if you go down to Watsontown from Montgomery using Route 405 it works just fine. From Montgomery to Muncy on Route 405 its rough also in Montgomery and Muncy it tends to be tough in certain area's of these boro's. The good ol Bald Eagle Mountain and its shadows.
South East.. going to Danville on Route 54 from Montgomery has been done without much problem. Also going down to Bloomsburg from Clarkstown its spotty but going to the hamfest in June 2004 heard the repeater in the area of Millville.
North.. up route 14 to Marsh Hill (just north of Ralston) has been done before with some bad areas along the way up to there. Also, Steam Valley Mountain around Fry's Turkey Ranch is about the end of the string for coverage to the north on Route 15.
West.. Lock Haven and Mill Hall 5 watts mostly. Certain areas on Route 80 as well as in October 2004 was on route 80 at the Centre county/Clinton County was able to make access.
Note: These are just routine tests. Coverage is not limited to this. Depenind on weather conditions etc.
