The Light: Like you’ve never seen before.

The Light is a little over an hour—once every month—of probing our spirits, exploring for truth, and receiving God’s light from the Lightgiver, Jesus.

Together we consider a topic important to our spiritual maintenance, looking at the Bible as well as at some of Jesus’s thoughtful followers over the last 2000 years. We listen to one another and share from our personal lives as much or as little as we want. Our priest leads the discussion, but there’s no sermon.

After talk, we enter a chapel to pray together over bread and wine, asking Jesus to give us a share in his life. There’s no pressure. Anyone who has been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is free to receive communion.

A box for donations and suggestions can be found at The Light.

There’s always snack food to eat and childcare for any who need it.

In our current space, there’s room for a little over 40 people at The Light.

Those who attend The Light may want to help with 'The Fun Thing', a gathering mid-month based on our month’s topic.

The Light is scheduled for 4 p.m. on the 1st Saturday of every month. Come to the door on the west side of the big Church building on the Saints Peter & John property at 169 Genesee Street, Auburn, New York.

The Light is presented each week by the Team, a group of volunteers (and one paid priest) who want to see people find love, hope and grace in a world that’s busy, harsh and tiring. We think that what millions have discovered for 20 centuries—Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life—is still true and still needs to be told and experienced.

Come and see!
