My collecting interests have turned elsewhere (mainly coins) so I am now in the process of thinning out my Furby tribe. I will be listing a few Furbys and Furby collectibles on eBay over the next few weeks. I won't be giving up all my Furbys, but a few will be headed to new homes soon! :)

Before Christmas 1999 I half jokingly said that I'd like to have a Furby, even though I knew little about the little critters at the time. Since it was only a $30 toy I wasn't expecting much and thought it would be fun just getting it to repeat things I said. But when I opened it up on Christmas and got it going I was quite surprised at all the different ways it could respond to its environment. And it wasn't long before that one Furby became two then three, then four, well, you get the idea. :)
