Horse Lovers
Saturday, September 19, 10am - 11am
Ages 3.5 to 5, $10 per child, 8 child maximum
Learn the names of the different brushes and grooming tools, learn to
brush and groom a horse, learn some of the parts of the horse, discuss what horses like, don't like, basic safety/rules around
horses.
Saturday, September 26, 10am - 11am
Ages 6 to 8, $10 per child, 8 child maximum
Same as above including what horses eat, horse stalls, what are herd
animals and why horses need space to move.
Saturday, October 3, 10am - 11:30am
Ages 9 and up, $15 per child, 8 child maximum
Same as above including stall cleaning, parts of bridle/saddle, bits,
how they work.
Intro To Horse Riding
Saturday, October 10, 10am - 11am
Ages 3.5 to 5, $15 per child, 8 child maximum
Children will learn why we wear helmets, boots and long pants.
They will learn what the bridle and saddle do and learn the basics of mounting, how to sit, how to start, turn and stop using
a strap, and dismounting.
Saturday October 17, 10am - 11am
Ages 6-8, $15 per child, 8 child maximum
Same as above only child can try his/her hand at using the reins, while on
a lead line.
Saturday October 24, 10am - 11:30am
Ages 9-11, $20 per child, 8 child maximum
Same as above, and if child is capable lead line will be removed.

If you are interested in signing your child up for any of the sessions listed above, please reserve a spot by calling
978-464-0446 or email gaitway@verizon.net. We have a maximum number of children per session and it is on a first come, first served basis. This is to ensure
all children have a fair amount of time to try each skill and enjoy being with the horse.
Parents will be asked to fill out a basic liability form at the beginning of each session.
Payment is due
the day of the session when you arrive with your child, cash or check made out to Kristen Schulz.
