GET OUT!...

Life is too short to sit in front of your computer.  So we are taking the advice of a Life is Good t-shirt and "getting out".

Our outdoor interests in the summer are hiking and biking.  In the winter we love to downhill ski.  And we've talked about trying snowshoeing but haven't done it yet.

This summer we are also training to walk - I said walk, not run - the Portland Marathon.  So far, the training schedule has been going well.  As of June 11, 2005 we are on schedule to do our long walk of 10 miles.  Each week we walk one long walk at a moderate speed and 2 shorter walks at a faster pace.  Wish us luck to walk all 26 miles on October 9, 2005.

We will post our current schedule of hiking or biking or skiing around town and the local area.  Want to join us?  Check out this page for updates on what's going on.  Any questions?  Email Gary.  He's the man with the plan.

Saturday, June 11 - Wallace Falls Again

We are organizing another Wallace Falls hike this Saturday, June 11, 2005. If you didn't make it to the one last year, this is a good one to start out the summer with. It's relatively easy and not too long. Email Gary for details if you haven't already gotten an email from him. The more the merrier!
