Doyles River Overnight
A short circut using the AT, Doyles River trail, and Jones Creek trail allowed me to get the second March overnight
in. Great hammock weather. The waterfalls were interesting, although the water levels were signficantly lower
than a normal spring. I saw no one else on the trails. Wildlife: very large stag, grouse, opossum, and one
very scared racoon who sniffed my pack at night, and then suddenly realized I was ABOVE him in my hammock!
