“The Most Humiliating Experience of My Life”

Few experiences are worse than being forced to repeatedly suffer the indignities of being groped, subjected to grossly lewd remarks, bombarded with repeated sexual propositions, and enduring even worse sexual misconduct, all for the sake of keeping the job upon which you, and perhaps your family, depend for support.  It is therefore not surprising that employees victimized by sexual harassment at work describe it as “the most humiliating experience” of their lives.

You Should Not Tolerate Sexual Harassment

You should not be required to tolerate sexual harassment in your work environment, nor should tolerating that harassment be a condition of keeping your job.  All employers covered by the various anti-sexual harassment laws are required to provide you with a workplace free of sexual harassment, and to take effective action to stop such harassment when you complain of it.  For their own protection, employers should have effective anti-sexual harassment policies and should follow those policies.

If You Are Sexually Harassed, Seek Legal Advice

If you are sexually harassed at work, and your complaints are not heeded, and it does not stop, or, if you complain and are fired or have other retaliatory action taken against you, you may have important legal remedies.

If you find yourself in that unfortunate situation, then, please, TALK TO US.  We look forward to helping you.
