The Present

Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a plan
In everything we do between we try the best we can
But rather than looking back to what it might have been
Or considering instead the things yet to be seen
Enjoy all that you have today, your current state of mind
Do not allow life's twists and turns to confuse and leave you blind
For the present day is all we have, it's all we need to see
Appreciate the here and now, cherish reality
