Protocol Setting Defaults:
FTP 21
FTP server and proxy protocol by convention use port 21 for listening for requests.
This is the default setting.
Should you wish to change this due to a conflict with some other product you may.
We suggest adding some multiple of 1000, such as 2021, 4021, etc.
Passive FTP is supported.
Both
USER username@website_address:port
USER username@website_address port
is supported.
Next you must then configure each network computer's FTP software to talk to these port assignments.
See "Proxy" setups in Netscape, Outlook Express, WS-FTP, etc.
Below is an example of configuring WS-FTPle for traversing the proxy server.
Note that the firewall setting is "User with no logon".
