Tony Gallo: (Lead Vocals, Harmonica)

Tony started singing and playing bass guitar for White Lightnin� at the age of 16. Along with other original member, Glen Ahearn, Tony co-wrote and arranged some of White Lightnin�s earliest music. Trading in the bass guitar for the microphone, Tony prides himself on his versatility as a performer and has sung or played harmonica with such notables as Al Vega, Paul Fontaine, Brass Force, Brian Maes, Mid-Life Crisis Jazz Band and legendary blues/soul guitarist Luther Guitar Jr. Johnson. Tony currently leads his own self-titled group as well mixing various styles of jazz and r&b. His debut Record Something to Say made the Grammy pool for nomination consideration. Glen Ahearn: (Lead Guitar, Vocals)

Glen started playing professionally at age 15. He developed his soulful/bluesy style while performing at various local venues, opening for such national acts as David Johansen, James Montgomery and The Fools. Glen is also a composer, writing much of the original music that has won White Lightnin� recognition as winners of the North Shore Rock & Roll Rumble and �Best Band� as voted by both the readers and music editor of a local newspaper.

Jeff Hanson: (Bass, Electric & Acoustic Guitars, Vocals)

Jeff has been playing guitar for over 20 years and studied music theory under Victor DalPozzal. His professionalism and commitment as a musician is uncompromising - playing in as many as five bands at the same time. Jeff has hosted a popular local �Jam� for 6 years, playing extensively with Luther Guitar Jr. Johnson, Duke Robillard and others. Jeff�s talent and versatility are essential ingredients to White Lightnin�s success.

Sammy Biancuzzo: (Drums)

Sammy started playing the Boston club scene in 1965. Working with Mason Dixon and the Line brought him on the road to New York City, where he also played with the NY band Dreams and performed in the studio with various artists. Sammy worked in L.A. and also played jazz aboard The Odyssey. Playing anything from Country/Western to Sinatra to Funk, Sammy is an integral member of White Lightnin�.

Jim Calandrella: (Saxophone)

Jim started playing sax in the fifth grade and played professionally at age 15. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, Jim has performed with a variety of bands that include The Infractions, The Brian Walkley Band, Metro and The Ken Hadley Big Band. Jim is currently working on two recordings that will be released in the year 2000.

Kevin Kennedy: (Keyboards, Bass Guitar, Vocals)

Kevin has performed in various bands in the Boston area since 1980. He attended Berklee College of Music and has been playing piano & bass for two decades. Kevin has played with White Lightnin� for seven years. Prior to that, he arranged, played bass and sang for an original band, Fez Henry, that opened for such national acts as The Tubes, the DelFuegos and Farrenheit.

Anthony Grant: (Saxophone, Flute, Vocals)

Johnny DiTomaso: (Trumpet, Vocals)

Garret Savluk: (Trumpet)

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Garret has been performing professionally for 15 years. Probably best known for his tenure with Boston based Heavy Metal Horns, he has also toured with Tower of Power and Extreme. Rounding out his experience, Garret plays all types of music from ceremonial solos, jazz, R&B and Funk, making him one of the most in-demand trumpeters in the region.

Karl Bryan, Jr: (Saxophone)

A native of Jamaica, Karl spent a decade working in Montego Bay. He worked with various artists, including The Platters, The Manhattans, Ziggy Marley, The Drifters and G-Love. Karl�s high energy style and sound will keep you on the dance floor!

Ricordo Monsun: (Percussion)

Ricardo is one of the most sought after percussionists in the region. He has played in more than six Countires and with countless Bands & Musicians including Walter Beasley, Danilo Perez and Dan Moretti. Ricordo enjoys playing all types of music.
