About seven weeks after surgery, we met with Dr. Darrick E. Antell in his Park Avenue office.

It's strange to say that surgery was fun, but our face and eye-lifts were a fabulous bonding experience for us.
We are 57 year old identical triplets who are extremely blessed not only because we have each other - nearly always a blessing - but also because we were able to participate in Dr. Darrick E. Antell's Twin Studies. In the picture above, Gerie is on Dr. Antell's right, Georgette on his left is wearing the sleeveless top, and I, Gail, am in black.

We first heard about Dr. Antell and his research from the Today Show; click on the March 29th MSNBC link above to see the segment. Georgette emailed Dr. Antell and then announced to Ger and me that she'd made an appointment for us!

The Today Show filmed our surgery and then sent us for makeovers. Thank you to Today's Style producer Minah Kathuria, and her assistant producer, Chimene Williams. These ladies were a delight to work with and they made us look good, except for the horrid "Before" pictures, but they're supposed to look bad.
Louis Licari colored our hair - Georgette with blonde highlights, Gerie with brown, and me with red - which was also cut at his posh Fifth Ave salon by Thierry, stylist extraordinaire. Rebecca Dolgin, Beauty and Fashion Director for All You magazine shopped for our ensembles, and welcomed us like royalty to her Time-Life office.

On Friday, June 30th, we were "revealed" live on the Today Show with commentary by Dr. Antell, Louis Licari, and Rebecca Dolgin. At 5 a.m., NBC sent a car  to Central Park South where we had spent the night as their guests at the beautiful Essex House. Rascal Flatts, the Friday concert performers, were on our floor. Even the weather was perfect.

We had incredible fun. It was wonderful. Our Connecticut cousins came to watch and "we all had a blast," to quote my cousin Liz.
