Ruth Goldfinger Golomb, M.Ed., LCPC, is a clinician
and supervisor at the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater
Washington, where she has been a staff member since
the mid 1980' s. During this time she has specialized
in working with clients of all ages who suffer from
anxiety disorders. Ms. Golomb has also been a
co-investigator in research projects regarding
trichotillomania and obsessive compulsive disorder,
and has co-authored several articles related to those
studies.
In addition, she has led numerous workshops and training
seminars on these and other topics for children, parents,
educators, and mental health professionals. Ms. Golomb
received her M.Ed. in counseling from the University of
Maryland in 1985

Sherrie Mansfied Vavrichek, LCSW-C, BCD, is a
board certified clinical social worker who has served
in medical, psychiatric, and special education settings
in the Washington metropolitan area for over two decades.
For the past ten years she has been on the staff at
the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington, where
she works with children, teens, and adults suffering
from a variety of psychological problems, including
trichotillomania. Over the past several years, she
has written about and conducted workshops on numerous
topics, including trichotillomania, parenting issues,
cognitive-behavior therapy, and the care of the special
needs child. Ms. Vavrichek received her MSW from the
University of Maryland School of Social Work in 1977.
