Each year on Good Shepherd Sunday (3 weeks after Easter), we celebrate God’s gift of creation. On this Sunday, our service is held outdoors. Folks come with their pets, farm animals, and friends.
We worship, pray, sing and share communion.
Our priest blesses each animal individually.
Beautiful certificates are given as a
remembrance of the day. Each year we have
been blessed by the presence of Massachusetts
State Troopers and their horses.
Come and celebrate with us. Everyone is welcome!
Our next Blessing of the Animals will be April 13, 2008 at 10:00 am.
Bring critters on a leash or in a crate.
