The Bronx River in New York City is a lovely little body of water, despite the fact that it is in the Bronx.  Unfortunately, the public is not allowed to kayak on the river.  But I have gone down it several times.

 

The purpose of these pictures is show people just how pretty and interesting the river is - in the hope that someday it will be open to all.
