Chaco Canyon in Utah was the inspiration for this painting called "Chaco Slip". These narrow high-walled canyons were perfect for outfoxing the law or just finding some shade. Many of these just are dead-ends just waiting to trap an unwary traveller. They're beautiful though as the sesimentary layers are often colorfully exposed on the walls. This painting was also produced using paper as the dimensional element.
