Status of Radar Site
All of the buildings
are gone except for a portion of one here and there. Nature has taken over the
site and it is overgrown. The land has been surveyed and staked for development
of 39 homes. The old housing units are being remodeled with up grades to be sold. The NCO club is still standing and I have been told some one has bought it and is
going to turn it into a private home. The access road is overgrown and really
rough. There is one radar tower still in existence and it is owned and operated
by FAA.
