Flavius Victor
was the infant son of the usurper Magnus Maximus, proclaimed emperor by
his father in order to add a sense of legitimacy to his own claim to
the throne. When Theodosius I decided to contest their claims, both
father and son were executed by forces loyal to Theodosius.
