Marcus Aurelius

Marcus Aurelius was the last of the “Five Good Emperors.” He was a compassionate and conscientious emperor who saw his country through some very difficult times that included plague and challenges to the Empire’s borders. His book, “Meditations” on Stoic philosophy, is still read today.
