SERVICE-CODES EXPLAINED

Last modified:

The complete text for this section has not been drafted, however some outline information is present to give a clue. Please check back periodically.

INTRODUCTION

On page 19, of the Owner's-Manual, a table is provided which gives meaning to each of 15 single-character "Error Code" displays that Scooba is programmed to present. A third column in that table gives instructions / suggestions about what may be done to overcome whatever improper operational state caused the character to be displayed. In this section, we attempt to correlate the "What It Means" and "What To Do" statements with known, or suspected sensor outputs.

Known / Observed Sensors

text (e.g., all perm-magnet actuated reed-switches; tach-systems; front-wheel position and once per turn sensors; tank-level and inlet-to-pump wet-sensors; and the battery-thermometer).

Suspected / Likely Sensors

text (e.g., five each motor-current sensors; and power-supply voltage sensor).
