Turn right and enter through that gate, then immediately turn sharply to the right (technically speaking, you're supposed to follow the arrows on the ground and drive around clockwise in a tight circle for about 3/4 of a turn to achieve the sharp right turn turn) onto a narrow paved path going uphill, almost parallel to Dodd Street going back in the direction you came from. Drive up the path to the top of the hill and turn left on to the Cemetery's "Central Ave." (so marked on the pavement--it's a right-angle turn, but fairly tight because the path is narrow). Drive past two medium-sized obelisks on your left and stop near the trash barrel on the right of the path. The Mason family plot is a very short distance down the hill on your left in row 18 (row numbers are marked on the pavement): look for a monument about 7 feet tall, surmounted by a somewhat newer-looking 4-foot granite cross. The plot is surrounded by a (mostly intact) low iron railing in the shape of (what else?) a hollow square.
Rosedale Cemetery is officially open from 8 am to 5 pm; however, the gates are usually kept open until about 5:30.
