To Montclair Friends Meetinghouse (convention and regular monthly singings)

By Car:

• From points north and south: Garden State Parkway Exit 151 (Watchung Avenue). Turn West onto Watchung Avenue, toward Bloomfield and Montclair. About 1.5 miles from the Parkway turn right onto Park Street, by the Coastal gas station. Go one block to Gordonhurst Avenue.
• From points west: Route 80 East to Exit 53 (Route 46 to Route 3/Lincoln Tunnel) (Ignore earlier exit for Route 46/Montclair!). Go onto Route 3 for about 0.2 mile. Exit right and turn South onto Grove Street toward Montclair. Go about 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Gordonhurst Avenue. Go two blocks to Park Street.
• From Manhattan: Lincoln Tunnel to Route 3. Exit onto Grove Street (it's the next exit after the exits for the Garden State Parkway) and follow directions above.

By Public Transportation:

• From the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan: DeCamp Bus Lines bus number 66 to Upper Montclair. Buy ticket on ground floor before boarding bus. The bus stops at the corner of Park and Gordonhurst across from the Meetinghouse. Travel time: about 40 minutes. Fare and schedule information: 973 783-7500.
• NJ Transit:
  • Bus number 28 (Newark--Montclair State University--Willowbrook Mall) stops on request on Valley Road near Gordonhurst Ave. Walk one block east on Gordonhurst to the Meetinghouse. On Sundays this bus connects with NJ Transit commuter rail, Amtrak, and PATH at Newark Penn Station.
  • Commuter rail to Watchung Avenue station (Watchung Ave. at Park St.) runs Monday through Friday only.
