To the Unitarian Church in Summit (We sang here at the first
Unconventional Sunday, May 18, 1997.)
By Car (the only practical option from Montclair on Sunday morning):
Garden State Parkway south to exit 142--Interstate 78. Interstate
78 west 4 miles to NJ 24 (officially that's exit 48, but you it
doesn't feel like an exit; you just keep to the right when 24 divides
off of 78). Continue on 24 for 2 miles to the third exit, exit 7 (I
think), very clearly marked "Summit Ave."
At top of ramp
(stoplight) turn left across to cross the highway and continue
straight through the light on the other side of the highway,
following Summit Ave. for about 1.5 miles to Springfield Avenue
(traffic light, business district). Turn left on Springfield and go
one block to the church on the left at the corner of Waldron Ave.
There's plenty of on-street parking on Waldron and elsewhere nearby
(free and no time limit on Sunday).
