William Billings commemorations
- Garden State Sacred Harp Singers, Inc. was a co-presenter of Billings 2000, an all-day celebration of the
life and work of Colonial and Federal America's preeminent composer
William Billings held in observance of the 200th anniversary of his
death. King's Chapel, Tremont and School Streets Boston, Massachusetts,
on September 26, 2000.
- Several of us participated in or helped to organize the William Billings 250th Birthday Bash in Boston,
October 1996.
- Volunteers will be needed for the 300th birthday bash in October
2046.
