Meeting held 7pm Feb. 25th 2009
Our February meeting had a great turnout with 25 members and first time guests!
We had 7 new members join our club last month.

“THE HUNT”
We still had some items relating to
the hunt that needed to be discussed and voted on.
Voted
and approved was the purchase of 2-ACE150 and 1-ACE250 detectors
for the major prizes in our 3 hunts.
We also
voted to purchase 10 Silver rounds or Silver dollars to raffle at the hunts.
A motion to purchase and distribute some small token gifts at the hunt
was turned down.
Reminder:
Anyone who hasn’t paid their 2009 club dues or, needs to make up the $5
difference for the FMDAC cards, Please plan on taking care of this matter at the
March 25th meeting.

To try and make things
easier for everyone, I’ve made two different slips for the Find of the Month part of our meeting. One slip will be for
anyone entering an item. The second will be for the voting process. Hope this will eliminate a different way of doing things
every time.
Gordie gave a short demonstration to help some of our newest members that haven’t
had the opportunity to even try their machines, with understanding generally how they work!

I’ve finally been able to secure the Food Truck for
the hunt. She will arrive about 8am
and the selections
will about the same as last year. Most important no work for us!
