Calling
for this dance week, as she did so admirably last year, will be Lisa Greenleaf whose
incredible energy, combined with the driving music from Notorious, will excite
and amaze you. Lisa has called at so many dance weeks in the USA and UK
that to many of you she needs no introduction. In particular Lisa
has performed to appreciative audiences including our own(!) who have demanded
yet another encore!
Sound for the week will be provided by the excellent Quentin
Fletcher, master
of the sound board, whose vast experience and sound balance will considerably
enhance our musical pleasure.
Additional highlights of this contradance week will be "Meet the Brits" on 2 nights, events which last year brought the best dancers from the UK and added to the excitement of the evenings; an evening with one of the top British contradance bands; a Cathedral pipe organ concert and some additional surprises.
