1878, July 13 - Treaty ending Russo-Turkish provides for Austria-Hungary to occupy and administer Bosnia.
1878, July 29 - Austro-Hungarian forces enter Bosnia and set up military field post offices.
1879, July 1 - First Bosnia lithographic stamps are issued ( 7 values).

1890 - Stamp perforating moved from the Cartographers Institute to the State Printing Office.
