The idea for Hawk Haven Orchids started 20 years ago when my husband and I honeymooned in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. We fell in love with the people, their way of life and especially the orchids! Over the past decade, I have amassed a diverse collection of orchid plants.

     The endeavor has evolved into a family hobby. My husband and son provide their general “handymen” skills acting as builders, plumbers, and electricians, and my two daughters have grown into very competent “greenhouse sitters” when I have to be away. My youngest daughter has also appointed herself Head Photographer in charge of all my orchid photography (including all the beautiful photos on this website).      Hawk Haven Orchids started out specializing in live, blooming orchid plant arrangements. We have been dealing primarily with high-end Realtors (such as Lisa James Otto) and upscale landscapers (such as Hill Landscaping), providing them with unique gifts for their special clients. These arrangements are memorable and long-lasting. They also make beautiful offerings for holidays, birthdays, or any special occasion!

     We are also excited to offer you our new “Windowsill Tropics!” These are beautiful plants that you can grow and bloom in your home, creating your very own tropical oasis! We’ve recently started carrying basic orchid growing supplies as well. See our Products Page for more details.
