Here is a little more info about me.

I Joined the National Guard in 1977 left in 1985 and re-enlisted in 1998. I started out as a Huey mechanic and crew-chief and when I got back in I went through a Blackhawk transition course and now I work on the Blackhawk full time as a technician at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos California. The deployment to Iraq was my first. As a kid I always imagined I would grow up join the military and eventually go off to war, I had no idea it would take almost thirty years. I also had no idea that my penchant for puns would lead to this website, but I am proud that I at least had a small part in helping out a couple of fellow soldiers. April 28th, 2005  was my  best working  day in Iraq, May 22nd comes in right at second. The all time best day was leaving there October 24th to come home to my family.

Nothing like a good cigar!

Relaxing with a good cigar was one of the few pleasures while we were in Iraq
