As far as I know, there is no such place and we may never know what happened there if I don't get round to writing a story . This painting started as part of an experiment in the feasibility using certain faux finishing tricks with acrylics. What you can't see on your monitor is that it is both iridescent and phosphorescent. Acrylic on masonite, 6" x 8". Framed in black enamel. Won 3rd place at MD State Fair, in the abstract category. Well, it surely isn't a landscape, sea-scape, figure, or still life!

A visit to a museum of modern art can leave a lasting impression. In this case I spent some time at SFMOMA while attending a professional convention with my husband. Fleeing from sensory underload, I was overtaken by the cubists, particularly one image by Georges Braque involving a violin and a candlestick. Once I got home I began to wonder if the cubists were Borg or the other way round. So far my showings of this painting have lead me to wonder if science fiction fandom is quite ready for cubism, and if resistance is futile. Acrylic on masonite 6" by 8." Framed in oak.
