Welcome to Brownie Troop 479 located in Central New York. We belong to
the Foothills Council which serves all of Herkimer and Oneida Counties, most of Madison County and parts of Lewis, Hamilton and Otsego
Counties. Our troop ranges in ages from 6 yrs - 9 yrs of age. Brownies are in 1st though 3rd grades. We
are an active group. We work with the local churches and community organizations lending a helping hand the Girl Scout
Way.
While in Girl Scouts, girls can discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls
together. There are 3.7 million Girl Scouts and growing stronger. That's a lot of girl power!
