| Guy and Nancy Vander Vliet's
Hilton Head villa is a three bedroom, three and one-half
bath, two-story townhouse located in a secluded section
of Shipyard Plantation, which is on the southern end of
Hilton Head Island. The villa sits on the 8th tee
of the Clipper Golf Course, and the pool is less than 50
yards away. There are tennis courts nearby, and
the beach is a short bike ride away. Our guests
also have free tennis provided at the world-class Van
der Meer Tennis Center located in Shipyard Plantation.
Upon entering the villa you
are in the large atrium foyer. Off this area is a
powder room and a completely outfitted kitchen with a
separate dining area. There is also a separate
laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer, and bed
linens and towels are provided for your stay.
There is a separate dining
room, which has a table seating six comfortably. A
deck off the dining room has a beautiful view of the 8th
tee and adjoining lagoon, home to a variety of wildlife.
The living room has a couch, love seat and two
upholstered chairs, with a large color TV, VCR and DVD
player. There is also a fireplace to enjoy on
chilly winter evenings. A picture window allows
you to watch the golfers and visiting wildlife.
On the 2nd floor are 3
bedrooms, each with its own bath and deck. The
master bedroom enjoys a king-size bed, ceiling fan and
large walk-in closet, as well as plenty of dresser
space. There is also a color TV in this room.
The master bath has a sunken garden tub as well as a
stall shower. The other two bedrooms each have two
twin beds and ample closet and dresser space. One
of the guest bedrooms also has a TV. The villa is
also equipped with high-speed dsl computer
accessibility.
