Welcome to Highlands Recreation Association!

The Association is responsible for the maintenance, improvement and replacement of common area components, such as streets, landscaping, recreation clubhouse, pool areas, tennis courts, and other common areas.

The facilites include a pool, infant pool, and hot tub in a control safe fenced environment
The club house was rebuilt in 2007 and includes indoor areas for games, meetings, a kitchen area, and offices
The childrens' play area is built with state of the art certified safety components.

The facility is designed for the comfort and enjoyment of all association members and their guests.

The next meeting of Highlands Recreation Association will be December 15, 2009. The agenda for that meeting will be posted on the bulletin board at the Recreation Center clubhouse five (5) days prior to the meeting.

The Board of Directors normally meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month. The meetings begin promptly at 7:30PM.

All homeowners are encouraged to attend.

President's Council Minutes

The Presidents council is meeting quarterly. It is a meeting of all the presidents of the 21 homeowner associations in the highlands. Draft minutes from the most recent meeting are available here.

Keeping You Moving by Keeping you Informed

Several construction projects are planned by various agencies that will affect motorists using Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) between the McClure Tunnel in Santa Monica to Cross Creek Road in Malibu, beginning in Spring 2008 with an estimated completion in 2011.

PCH Partners consists of representatives from the City of Los Angeles, the City of Malibu, the City of Santa Monica, and Caltrans working together to coordinate construction projects to minimize traffic impacts on PCH.
