The Many Keys to a Successful Campfire

Food should be simple and light. Consider a cracker barrel or Dutch oven cooking. Keep in mind certain allergies ( particularly dairy, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts ) the audience might have.
Songs should start out slow and than gradually get louder and more intense as the campfire moves on. No dirty songs!!!

Stories are always fun to tell. Have more than one story and keep in mind the age group of the audience.
Tell about upcoming events and activities
There are many different ceremonies to chose from. Conceder the mood of the camp fire and the audience present. Some ceremonies include: campfire ash ceremonies, flag retirement ceremonies, crossovers, court of honors, and many others.
