About WeatherSix:
WeatherSix is an application, designed for the Roku PhotoBridge HD Digital Media Player, which will retrieve up to the minute
weather data from The Weather Channel over the Internet and display the data and
imagery on your HDTV screen.
Features:
- Displays the current weather conditions along with a 4 day forecast for each location.
- Displays weather radar or satellite imagery for each location.
- Support for up to 10 configurable locations.
- Displayed data is configurable for either Standard or Metric formats.
- Easy to use onscreen keyboard used to enter the name or zip code of each city.
- Can optionally be installed to act as a screen saver.
Requirements:
- Roku PhotoBridge operating system version 1.5.18, 2.0.10 or higher.
- Installed on a shared network drive or on a removable flash memory card.
- An active connection to the Internet.
- A swap file (see 'Setup' page for details).
Remote Control Buttons:
- LEFT and RIGHT - Steps through each of the predefined locations.
- ROTATE - Cycles between the forecast and radar image screens.
- SELECT - Forces a refresh of the onscreen data. (Forecast or radar image)
- MENU - Displays a popup 'Settings' window to add or delete locations.
- INFO - Displays a popup window allowing users to select the format of the displayed data.
- FAST FORWARD - Displays a popup window allowing users to select and jump to a specific location's forecast.
- ZOOM IN/OUT - Simulates zooming in and out on the radar image screen.
- EXIT - Saves any modified settings and exits the application.
