Welcome to my family website.  This is, and probably will forever be, an ongoing project.  My research within the country is mainly centered in Northumberland and Schuylkill Counties, Pennsylvania.  Recently, my research has extended to Yorkshire, England and Baden, Germany.

The information contained within these pages is aimed at furthering my research, aiding others in their research and at honoring a small coal mining "patch" near Shamokin, Pennsylvania that I used to call home.

Big Mountain was the home of my family for five generations, and I have included historical background and photos of Big Mountain and Shamokin.  While there is not much left of the little village today, it was once a very vibrant coal mining community.  I hope you check out the photos, and if you have any information or stories to share, please let me know!
