Here is my old O gauge 3 rail train layout. Let me know what you think! It was about 12x15 feet, under construction (off and on) for 6 years. Three trains could run at once on 3 independent loops, although all the loops were connected. There was room for 2-3 more trains on sidings.

Most of my equipment is modern production, semi-scale or scale. I run Weaver, Williams, and MTH mostly, but I have some Lionel and K-line also. I also run some cars made from Red Caboose or Intermountain kits.

There were quite a few buildings on the layout. They are all painted kits. Just about all the major kit producers are represented.

The pictures were taken with a Canon EOS IX APS camera on Kodak Advantix film, then scanned

Since I am writing in the past tense you can tell the layout is no more :(.  The house was sold and I packed up everything I could salvage (23 boxes worth!) and the rest went to the dump.  Click here for a few pictures of the death of the layout.

New Pictures:

I think I have already taken enough pictures but I couldn't resist taking a few more before the layout came down.  Besides, I got some new stuff and wanted to document it!  Here you go:

New Daylight shots
Here are some new "daylight" shots.  Featured are my Atlas O switcher, MTH doodlebug, and C&O allegheny.

New Night shots
Here are some new "nighttime" shots.
