WELCOME! Below is a photo of my humble home studio in
which you will find quite a few DIY projects that have really helped reduce the overall cost of this studio
building project. If you click on the photo it will take you to my Studio Layout page
with other views of my 11 X 11 room (Currently being rebuilt and enlargened) where I discuss some reasons for the set-up and
what I have done to help with those all important room acoustics.
If you scroll down the page, you'll see links to other interesting ideas and
studio "stuff".
In this photo above you will also see my newest
studio desk design/build that follows the concept of "less is more" while providing a lot of work space and
it can be built for less than $100 U.S. You can click on the smaller photo

Click on the photo above to see the progression of photos of my home studio reconstruction/rebuild
where my room has grown from 11 X 11 to 11 X 15. I've used a lot of info from multiple recording forums and websites in the
build. The interior walls are now 9 inches thick, double framed and double drywalled with lots of airspace and insullation.
The Ceiling is also double drywalled with R25 insullation and doors are solid wood. I have also gained a nice storage area
under the stairwell for my mic stands, music stands, and other space hogging necessities.
