Jackie studied theatre and music and has a B.A. in Theatre Arts.   Her solo cabaret debut show, "Second Chance" enjoyed much success at the Encore and Mama Rose's in 2004 & 2005.   Jackie has studied with Lennie Watts and Steven Ray Watkins in their CabLab Workshops, and also with Lennie and Lina Koutrakos in their Summer in the City Workshop.

Ms. Fornatale appeared with Alisa Schiff in Rob Langeder's MAC Award winning "BROADWAY REVIVAL"  under the direction of Miles Philips, and musical direction of Tracy Stark, and recently was a guest performer in Rob's Halloween show; "UNDEAD IN HELL'S KITCHEN".  Jackie was also a guest performer in Michael Edwin Stuart's "WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE" at the Encore, and also enjoyed being part of Tracy Stark's choir during the CD Release Performance for her latest CD: "FEAST FOR THE HEART" at the Metropolitan Room.

Jackie appeared with Brandon Cutrell in John DeMarco’s "PURE AND SIMPLE" at Danny’s Skylight Room, and with Susan Peirez in John’s "ALL ABOUT LOVE" -  which enjoyed a sold out run at Judy’s Chelsea.  Both of John DeMarco’s shows were under the musical direction of Daryl Kojak.  Jackie also appeared with Susan Neuffer in "INSTANT KARMA" at Mama Rose’s in and at the Encore under the direction of Lennie Watts, and musical direction of Gerry Dieffenbach.

Jackie has appeared in several benefit performances for Oprah's Angel Network at The Metropolitan Room, and  "THE LOVELY LADIES OF CABARET" at The Laurie Beechman Theatre  benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Help Is On The Way Today.
