I like the feel of the leather, the smaller diameter (?) and the bumps where you grip the wheel. The stock steering wheel has a good feel for the dynamics of the Corrado. But a smaller and custom steering wheel feels pretty trick. The Antera steering wheels are pure artistry. They cost a lot more, but they just feel wonderful in your hands. APS has a pretty good selection of steering wheels in their catalog. Also they take Momo wheels and put their Neuspeed name on them. The install a steering wheel is very easy. You lift off the horn cover on the stock steering wheel which is attached by clips. Underneath is a large nut that attaches the wheel to the steering column. you simply undo the nut with a steering wheel remover tool, slide off the wheel and install the Momo adapter. The new steering wheel attaches to the adapter. I had a little problem with alignment afterwards. Seems there are notches on the steering column for the wheel, so you got to get it lined up just right. A new shifter knob feels great in combo with the wheel as well. I like the Momo super anatomic, which has a groove for your thumb on top. Then attach some AutoLook pedal covers, and your interior is really sporty looking. There aren't too many interior modifications to do on the Corrado, so these little adjustments make a big difference. Next, maybe carbon fiber trim lining? Its GREAT! I highlt recommend this swap if you are going to do any serious driving. The stock wheel was too big around to do a 180 turn of the wheel without your hands leaving the wheel. I paid 129.00 for the wheel and about 45.00 for the hub adapter to mount it to the VW. I ordered from Ground Control (916) 638-0200. Get the Momo catalog and look for a wheel you like. They fit your hands infinitley better than any stock wheels I've held. -Oliver
