Yahoo Arguably the slowest, most tedious, toughest search engine to get listed on. It is a long painful process to list your URL here. It could take weeks or months or never to be listed on Yahoo. Although, if you want to pay $199 yahoo will guarantee a site review within a week. No guarantee, even if you pay, that you will be listed! Yahoo is too slow!
Yeehaa Yeehaa is an up and coming search engine that few know about. It has a quick and easy web page add URL submittal form. I recommend it.
Hotbot Hotbot keeps getting slower and slower. Now they say a new site added will be indexed in 60 days. I've waited three months for some web pages to get indexed.

Google One of the best search engines, rumour has it they will go public sometime soon. I wish I could get some stock in this search engine. URL submission is fairly quick, just follow the links. Google doesn't spider the web often however and your web page may take months to get listed.
Snap Unfortunately not a snap to navigate or get listed here! Click on the directory that is appropriate for your web page then add your site. Site submission is slow if ever.
