What folks are saying about High Above Manhattan ....

"Superb playing & did I hear a Larry Carlton - Steely Dan
type vibe in there?"

"I'm sitting here at the shop listening to it with a grin from ear to ear! It's absolutely wonderful!!
Songwriting, production and playing...ALL TOP NOTCH!!"

"Really superb music thru & thru.."

"I played your new CD for my in-laws last night and they absolutely loved it!"

"The Birdz Sessions' "High Above Manhattan" CD is a refreshing listening experience. The CD is also a reminder (to me) that extraordinary talent oftentimes escapes the attention of A&R personnel and record labels. The great listening experience begins the moment you pop the disc in and hit the play button. The first song provides an immediate impression that you are about to listen to a CD that you will enjoy throughout its entirety. I was not disappointed by my initial impression. There is a Steely Dan influence that runs throughout the CD, but that influence is impressively presented and intermixed with other jazz musical influences (at least to this listener). Track 8, "Naked", suddenly surprises the listener with a vocal performance that is reminiscent of Beatles harmony. I anxiously await a second Birdz Sessions release."

"Just wanted to thank you for the CD, and tell you it's great."

"
That's some pretty, easy , nice listening music . I like it cause it's far from over jazzed."

"Terrific album ... Your music is very original and obviously loaded with talent."
